Michael Aquilino, Owner and President

Mike started the company in October 1988 after 18 successful years in the corporate banking industry of Greater Boston. Mike's vision of operating Outdoor Pride is the same vision that made him successful in his banking career. He hires great employees who share his beliefs in what makes a professional company: dedication, accountability, leadership, positive communication, and a "refuse to lose" attitude that focuses on the team rather than the individual. Mike enjoys serving as a mentor and coach to his employees, allowing them to grow and develop their divisions, as if it were their own company.

Outdoor Pride puts strong emphasis on creating and accomplishing goals, while training all employees to continue developing an outstanding image. Mike encourages all employees to get involved in the community, explaining that it is not about taking, but giving back and contributing to society. Giving back is rewarding and builds character in our employees.

Along with being involved with the organizations listed on our web site, many of our employees serve as youth and high school coaches, serve on town boards, and are members of various associations. An added feature: many employees are fine musicians, singers, and artists, as well.

Mike looks forward to continually developing Outdoor Pride. He lives in Londonderry, NH, with his wife Dale and two sons, Mark and Dave.

Michael Wood, General Manager

Michael started with Outdoor Pride in 1991 when the company was just a one-truck operation and a Landscape Maintenance-only company. After helping to develop the Landscape Maintenance Division to a multi-crew/truck operation, mowing over 120 acres per week and servicing large upscale condominiums throughout Southern NH, Michael began to develop additional services the company could offer.

Michael developed the landscape design and installation division that employs over 20 people and now offers a full line of services including landscape design, landscape installation, irrigation, outdoor lighting, and custom stone/granite work.

Michael also took part in the development of Outdoor Pride's commercial snow removal division, which is now the largest division within the organization. Michael is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the multi-million dollar, 140-emloyee operation that services sites across Southern NH and Northern Massachusetts.

In the coming years Michael will be concentrating more on business development and managing the companies growth, while letting the new generation of skilled managers handle the daily operations.
